Now that we're starting up again and all that threads that rose have converged (as they must), why don't we actually do what this thread was for and summarize what happened! ^_^

In Broken Generator, Jodie, Olivia and Christoph left the building to a shack a little ways away so that Jodie could fix the back-up generator there. Shortly after they had done so, they were attacked by what appeared to be silvery scorpions, and Jodie was injured.

On the way back, they were again attacked, this time by a giant insectoid creature, but a giant bio-machine rose out of the sand to fight it, claiming its duty was to protect humanity. The trio left before the fight's conclusion, returning to the base.

Also, Christoph is reasonably certain Jodie and Olivia have the hots for each other.

I suppose I could summarize Medical Bay, as that was my introductory thread in this RP. It spawned directly from the events of Blackout, after the lights had been turned on. The more combative PC's had just rescued Natalie from a horrible mutant, and they were all looking a bit worse for wear. Natalie was just recently awakened through all this and had little idea what was going on. Minor and amateur medical procedures were attempted on each other to moderate effect. After a doctor or two is introduced and forgotten, Sid the soldier comes into the thread and hangs around a while, glimpsing the aftermath of the fight. (NOTE: total cast at this point is Lucy, Johnny, Markus, Natalie, Sid) Here enter Smithson, who is immediately revealed to be a contemptible ass that is at least somewhat good at medicine.

There is some talking, and Sid has a massive heart attack, which it is generally agreed upon was fatal. There is yet more wondering what the hell is going on. Smithson leaves his doomed patient to synthesize a vaccine out of the killed mutant. A bit more wondering goes on and the scene abruptly ends. If anyone has any additions, feel free to chime in.
