Her leaving troubled him, but he remained composed. He did not mean to appear so flippant about her becoming his bloodmate but anything that could be used as a lever to move the Killer of Four Winds further under her will had to be avoided. Anything that he cared about could be used in such a manner, especially Angel. His sapphire eyes followed her as she stepped out onto the balcony. Her following Anabel's new favorite worried him slightly and he considered quietly whether he should continue.

"If it pleases you, my Lady, I plan to leave this night. Upon my return, it is my hope that we can discuss this further." Eijin bowed low, turned on his heel and took his leave, mentally summoning Zazelio to him. Already the Sphinx's saddle and riding gear were prepared in the courtyard. As he stepped into the open, he called out to Angel, not wishing to interrupt her meeting with the earth-bending Edicus. He had not personally met the boy, but lamented his treatment deeply. He approached the sand slowly, taking a step onto it, expecting it to accept his weight. He sank quickly, almost faster than he could react, falling into the chamber and catching himself mere inches from the cavern floor on a pocket of air awkardly with his feet facing the ceiling. "By the Gods, that's a fall..." he muttered. He righted himself and dusted sand from his clothing raising a brow at the pair.
