Demeanor — He is a very quiet and inquisitive man. always has questions about how the world works, though he is more likely to go off and investigate it then ask.

Life — He was born in a small shack in the land of chrisholm, not to far from Crystal Song Lake. His parents, asians from a mysterious island nation far to the east. He knows little about his ancestral home, other then its nation is stooped deep in the mysterious art of Alchemistry.

Secretly his parents left due to a massive war that was tearing the nation apart, affraid of the dark and strange warlords that started the war, would in fact win it and plunge the nation into darkness. They simply told their son that they left to make a fortune working alchemy in the lands of Alexandria.

Chikao's parents had taught him the secret art of alchemy, the likes of which is unseen and unheard of inthe western land. He took to it fast, and learned the art well. Before he could truely learn the arts deeper secrets, his parents were killed, when he was about 13 years old, while trying to steal into the area of the crystal song lake and take some of its sacred water. To tihs day chikao hates the lord of Chisholm.

Since his parents death, he has spent his days learning the secrets of the world and perfecting his arts. He has learned many new Alchemical Formula's, some of which are near mystical (below will be a list of many of his formula's).

As with many alchemists, he believes that Alchemy is not just a science of making the perfect alchemical formula (lead into gold, arts of creation and potions of immortality), but also a spiritual sense of perfecting ones soul into a state of spiritual evolution and ascension. He works to learn the secrets of the world in hopes of perfecting his self. He has shown to be very helpful, though with a lack of regard to many stated laws at times.

Organization — The current western world is blind to the true uses of alchemy, they look for gun powder, drinks, and very basic chemical formulas. They fail to see the near mystical (and perhaps someday mystical) applications of transmutation, thus he fears they will stifle his efforts of perfection.

He has helped many people, from policing forces and knights to healers and farmers. AS such, he has created many friends and many more enemies. Below is a grouping of his most influential friends.

Lord Catan: This lord living within Chisholm operates the major policing force in the area. Chikao has, on many occasions, provided evidence and aid in tracking down criminals, Lord Catan and Chikao have become close friends and he's been able to get off of a few criminal charges because of this friendship.

Sister Alicia White: a Priestess to the Church of the Undying Light (see below). They have worked together to end many epidemics and aided in the healing of some of the deadest wounds. Chikao providing potions that speed healing and stop pains, while Alicia (a skilled surgeon and student of the Medical Arts) worked to cure the wounded by any means needed.

Farmer Edward Johnson: A powerful local land owner, Mr. Johnson provides Chikao with some of the herbs he needs, and Chikao provides potions and chemical fertilizers that cause his crops to outshine those surrounding them. They often end the week dining together and sharing rumors and stories from the week before.

While he isn't likely to start a fight, he is skilled with his stave. He will use Alchemical Formula's and his stave skill to end a fight fast. He is also fairly skilled in the Eastern Martial Arts from his home land, though someone who specialized in strikes would be better then him at it. His parents had been teaching himself means to defend himself and escape from sticky situations, he himself has worked on training himself how to do strikes based off material he's found at his parents house. He's not even sure that he's doing it right.

Due to his beliefs, he is unlikely to ask for help. He is also very distant fromp people he doesn't consider friends and very unlikely to fully explain his actions to any but his closest friends. He also has his specific views on the world, and is unlikely to follow the law if it prevents him from learning new secrets or worldly laws.

Sample of Alchemical Formulas

Love Potion: Not what one would expect as a 'love potion'. This small Vial uses a collection of Chemicals to enhance arousal and lower inhibitions. It causes the release of Endorphins related to sexual arousal.

Scent Eliminator: This split vial, once smashed on the ground, mixes two chemical formula's that cause anyone who smells the vapors to loose their sense of smell for a period of roughly 30 minutes. Working on one to effect Hearing.
----Drawback: If use to much, it can slowly give you Anosmia.

Sight Eliminator: This split vial causes a chemical reaction, when broken, that interrupts the impulses that communicate vision between the eyes and the brain. Working on one to effect hearing.
----Drawback: If used to much, it can slowly make one blind.

Mystical Fertilizer: This fertilizer formula uses natural and chemical mixtures to increase plant growth and keep bugs away from them. So all the farmers have to deal with are rabbits and other animals. Its non-toxic to humans and animals.
----Drawback: N/A

Pain Blocker: There are four levels of this injectable alchemical formula. The weakest of them weakens light pain spread across the body. The second relaxes and elevates muscle pain. The third completely numbs a small area around the injection site. The fourth causes wide spread numbness and is normally only used for surgeries.
----Drawback: This can become addictive over time, and if used to much over a short time it can cause liver and heart problems.

Natrual Healing Augmentation: This chemical injection speeds up the natural healing cycle, and increases the body's ability to fight off infections.
----Drawback: Weight loss due to increased metabolism are the worst effects this drug can induce.

Stay Awake: a chemical exliar that will keep someone awake.
----Drawback: To much use of such medication can not only cause one to 'crash', it can also make someone fall into horrible bouts of fatigue at he worst of times. If used to much, or taken to much, it can cause increased blood pressure, even cause cardiac issues that may lead to death.

Sense Enhancer: this nearly doubles a persons sensory range for any of the given senses. (there are five different forms of this)
----Drawback: This medicine doesn't allow one to 'turn off' your senses when something negative happens. Blight lights can blind,horrible smells can cause one to become sick, pain is worse, etc. Also, the medicine doesn't work to well together, taking multiple of these can cause severe head-aches and even over time can give you brain damage.

Alchemical Fire: This split vial contains chemcials when mixed cause a chemical fire to burn, gathering fuel from its surroundings to continue to burn. It can cause an almost immediate 3rd degree burn on a person. Working on a Acidic version of this.
----Drawback: Obviously, when damaged in someones pocket can cause it to burst into flames on the person holding it.

Glue Bag: This chemical reaction causes a sticky substance to hold a person in place for a short time, enough for someone to get away from someone.
----Drawback: It has to be used within 7 days of being made or else it simply becomes a sticky mess in a bag that doesn't due much.

Sleep Potion: This potion works overtime (about a half-hour) to make the person who ingests it fall asleep. Is working on a more instant knock out potion.
----Drawback: long term use of this for answer to sleep will leave one feeling groggy and even leaves the user requiring the alchemical formula to fall asleep.

Antidotes: Can be used to cure just about any poison that are ailing victims. This is a category formula. When the base chemicals are used in conjunction with the victims blood or a sample of the poison, it has been shown to cure nearly any poison (works better with poison, as blood sample has to be run through a chemical reaction before it can be mixed with the base chemicals).
----Drawback: n/a

I like the amount of detail you put into the character. I have only a few questions and suggestions.

First, you say he is skilled in eastern martial arts. I am assuming his parents taught them before they were killed? I'd put a little something in his bio about his training... perhaps even incomplete because of their death?

Second, Is there a draw back to the Alchemy? For example, the one that enhances the senses...what would prolonged exposure do. Is there a limit to how many times in a short period a person could use these items before suffering effects?

The Antidote one seems bordering a little close on being magical, I know you probably didn't mean it could cure any posion, and that it simply improves the bodies defenses and against them. Maybe? I'd like more clarification on that one specifically.

Also, Nate has asked that everyone uses the format for the specific character sheet he laid out. They are small cosmetic changes, but needed.

Other then that, its looks good. I really like all the extra skills you gave him!
