Finally Home?

A land located on the far south peninsula of the Western Continent. It was only moderately effected by the End, with loss of land on its eastern and western shores. The oriental nation has suffered through strife and chaos for years, and because of the revolutionary government that toppled the previous Shogun, Cizok managed to last through those hellish months.

In the nature of the area, a little bird could be heard chirping. This wasn't too big a deal, there were birds anywhere there we trees, all of them chirping and tweeting noisily with their flock, doing whatever it was birds found to be entertaining. This little bird in particular, was colourful and had a charming sweet chirp, more so than the other birds. It hopped with its tiny feet on the floor, ruffling it's bright feathers and picking at whatever it found on the ground that might be edible.

Behind this little bird, it's companion hobbled slowly behind. It steps were bizarre and strange, first a wet squish, then a sharp thud, followed by the squish and the thud again. Bean Lady had entered the village, with a warm smile on her face. Upon her arrival the little bird cheeped and flew onto her flagpole arm, perching there and staying around for the ride. The small bird was her friend, and if she could speak she would tell you that the bird's name was Moko and that they have been friends for a very long time.

Moko was the entire reason Bean Lady was near the village, otherwise a woman with her appearance would have avoided it completely, but times were hard and with a large chunk of the world being almost completely destroyed there wasn't much to eat, and Bean Lady was venturing into town with a fistful of money hoping to at least purchase some bird seed for Moko, and maybe for a bite to eat herself.
