General History: Alterna grew up believing the world was full of beings that were against the world. She had to learn quickly that some beings truly had to be banished in order to protect the land from becoming destroyed or their very life energy sucked out. Her only ally however was in the specific training she had incurred and realizing she wasn’t a normal human, despite her wishes to be a human. She could not be true human no matter how much she wished. A true human couldn’t turn themselves into something that resembled a legendary phoenix. Somehow through her birth, she had gained this ability, but not the powers of a phoenix. If she were to die, she would not be reborn like a phoenix would. She would only have the outwardly appearance of one. Her skills with talismans however proved quite useful in banishing spirits or objects that dared to drain away the life energy or cause danger to others. This also was included with her training to use a rapier earlier on until she became unable to show a soft expression unless doing one of the many things she enjoyed, but usually when not around people. She rarely travelled amongst others and almost never showed her soft side to no one, mostly out of fear that a soft side reveal would be the death of her.
