Demeanor: Seiichi is a very thoughtful, reserved boy. One might even go so far as to superfluously describe him as cerebral When he was a child he was very carefree, but now he is quite focused and driven in his training and studies. While he would be more than comfortable spending most of his time in a library studying a bit of history, or practicing calligraphy Seiichi has such a driving desire to please others that he sets aside some of his personal joys to train all the harder to emulate his famous father. His focused air makes some view him as cold or mechanical but in truth he is also quite sensitive. Being born and largely brought up in a time of war and turmoil however he learned to suppress such emotions and hide that part of himself from others.

Kurohara-ryū kenjutsu: After having produced a number of prolific samurai and duelists in the past, the Kurohara clan had begun encouraging the sharing and invention of new sword techniques, theories, and meditative practices. The end result of this campaign was the formation of the Kurohara-ryū kenjutsu--or the Kurohara school of Swordsmanship. The school is one of inheritance and is taught only to those of the bloodline, and is made up of several sub-styles that, while sharing a similar base, vary in focus and emphasis, and other such subtleties
¬Kuroi-iro kokoro no Kata: Seiichi, like his father Yuudai, has taken up this style. While not a master of this style Seiichi is still training and progressing in this sub-style of the Kurohara-ryū kenjutsu. The kuroi-iro kokoro no kata splits its focus between traditional sword techniques and supplemental Qi manipulation, of both internal and external varieties.
