Zhent is quicker with his tongue then he is with anything else. He seems to have a never ending supply of sarcastic remarks for any and every situation. Even in the face danger and certain death he does not lose his nonchalant quality. He shows no respect for authority and actively rebels against any figure who tries to control him.

Zach Kaiser - Zhent idolizes this man, in his mind there is nothing that Kaiser can not do. He is what the young treasure hunter aspires to be.
Fenix Black - Zhent is jealous of Fenix, the man isn't much older then him, and Zhent feels he should be the one traveling along with Zach instead.

Elemental Magic: Zhent is what is known as an elementalist, a person to whom wielding elemental magic comes naturally. His power is innate rather than learned. It's divided into three parts--Fire/Lightening, Sun, and Star magic--in ascending order of power. Despite the division of the elements, they all come from the same source of internal power, and thus are interlocked. Fire and lighting represents the lower levels of his power, while Star represents the upper. (Zhent does not currently know he possesses Star Magic, he is only aware of the first two tiers.)
Daggers: Zhents is fairly skilled with daggers, he favors them because of the fact that most warriors seem to over look them as a mere child's toy. While he is by no means an expert in their use Zhent considers them more of a tool then a weapon.
Sword-Play: Zhents swordplay is just that, he has no formal training and pretty much has gone with a use it as an 'improvising' tool. He has real potential but lacks direction and guidance.

Zhent rarely carries more then the clothes on his back and the few daggers strapped to his person and a bastardsword on his hip.

Elemental Magic: The innate ability to cast elemental magic and control the elements. Divided into three tiers:
Fire: One of the five base elements, it's arguably the most destructive of the elements.
Lightening: Another of the five base elements, its nearly as destructive as fire but has more versitility.
Sun: A mid level element, Sun is similar to fire in it's destructive nature. It is incredibly effective against undead, shadow creatures and anything else with an aversion to sun light. While Sun magic is much more powerful and destructive then Fire magic it also takes a large tax from Zhents body, using more then a couple spells in succession leaves Zhent weakened.
Star: A high level element, Star magic is extremely destructive, as it is essentially raw, unstable mana compressed into the form of energy. Some scholars argue that it is actually Destruction magic under a different name, but as nobody living has ever seen it this can't be confirmed. A scarce and volatile element, most of the rare users of this magic have caused their own untimely demise.(Zhent doesnt know he possesses it.)
