-- Demeanor: Aiden is generally a quiet, reserved person, preferring to spend time alone reading rather than socialize, to the point where his social skills are rather rusty and he has difficulty holding conversations with most people. The exception being books, which he can talk about for hours if the other person is interested.

Being a bibliophile, the most important thing to Aiden are books; in particular, he collects rare books, and will go to great (legal) lengths to obtain one.

Unused to expressing himself verbally, he often writes down his more complex feelings and thoughts rather than try and speak out loud and stumble over the words. He writes in a journal nightly, however those hoping for juicy insight into him are often disappointed: it's mostly his thoughts about what he's read that day.

.:. History .:.

Aiden was born to parents who were so poor they could barely afford a roof over their head. He lived in poverty until he was six, at which point a scientist named Rune Galx approached his parents with an offer: he would pay them large sums of money in exchange for taking Aiden to participate in his experiments. Along with a number of other children, he was under Rune's care of three years.

When he returned, nine-year old Aiden led a very different life. His parents had diligently saved the money they regularly received, and were now "nouveau riche." However, Aiden himself had changed significantly; the once bright and cheery child rarely talked except when spoken to, uninterested in other children or anything but books. And shortly after returning home, he revealed another peculiarity: he could move certain things with his mind.

His parents soon sent him away to boarding school. Aiden only returned for holidays until he entered high school, after which he stopped going home at all. Shortly after his sixteenth birthday, he was visited by Dr. Galx, who sought to make him a research subject again, but Aiden refused. Around the same time, he started to get harassed on the streets by thugs.

Hearing of a large book fair in another country, he decided it was as good a time as any to take a vacation. For the first time in his life, Aiden left Synthinia.

.:. Contacts .:.

"Kei": Acquaintance "If she can really find the Prophecies of the Lost, it'd be an amazing literary achievement."
Hrothgar Reid: Acquaintance. "I wonder why he's worried about me."
Rune Galx: Nothing in particular. "..."

.:. Talents .:.

Synthokinesis: An extremely rare form of psychokinesis, it allows the wielder to move and manipulate man-made (synthetic) objects with their mind, included but not limited to paper, plastics, alloys, and even heavily processed foods. Overuse of the ability, however, can result in seizures, stokes, and eventually death.

.:. Flaws .:.

Bibliophile: Aiden loves books, particularly rare ones, and focuses on them in exclusion to almost everything else in his life. He will go to incredible lengths to obtain rare books, though he won't break the law or common decency to do so.
