-- Demeanor: Quiet and shy, Xander is an observer. He prefers to remain unnoticed and watch the interactions of those around him. Despite his reserved nature he does find comfort in simply being around others. Because he is dependant on others he often goes along with ideas and plans despite them being in his best interest. Unlike many of the Enigmas Smoke, or Xander, has no illusions about being a hero and considers his own personal safety above all others. While he isn’t the type to stick a dagger in some ones back he wont prevent it from happening if he believes his own life may be forfeit.

-- Weapon of Choice: Quarter Staff Smoke carries a simple wooden quarter staff that’s main purpose is to be used as a walking stick. He prefers it’s simplicity over other weapons as well as how easily it can be replaced should it be broken or lost.
-- Changeling: It has been hinted that Smoke has the potential to physically change himself too nearly any substance. He is far from mastering this ability and currently can become like that of a shadow, or a more gaseous form.
- Gaseous Form: Smoke takes on a transparent, gas like, near invisible form that’s only marked by the bending of light around him and unlike other versions of this Smoke is able to control the direction he travels regardless of the wind speed. In this form he is immune to physical attacks and most magical attacks. Likewise he is unable to affect anything while in Gaseous form.
- Shadow Form: Like the name implies Smoke becomes a mere one dimensional shadow and while in this state he can attach to something as small as the shadow of a bird, traveling along with it as it flies or even that of another person. While in this form Smoke is unable to effect or be affected by most things.

Other than his walking stick Smoke wears is black cloak with grey stitching still, the coat that once marked him as the Grey Enigma. If he is expecting to travel far and be on the road for a long time he will also carry a pack full of basic supplies.

Close Combat: At first appearance Smokes form looks like it would be hard pressed to present a challenge in close combat. However, Smoke has developed a style of fighting which relies on changing between forms mixed with stave or stick combat.
Basic Weaponry: Smoke has been trained to use simple sticks effectively in combat. While strange he does excel in wielding a quarter stave or two smaller sticks, one in each hand.

Enigma Flaw: As an Enigma Smoke lives knowing that if he dies he ceases to exist, what’s left of his soul is simply gone. Because of this belief Smoke has a very real fear of death and will do just about anything to save himself.
Soft Spoken/Easily Pushed Around: Smoke isn't one to challenge another and is more comfortable following orders even if he knows what he is doing is wrong.
