Demeanor: Levi is, without a doubt, one of the kindest human beings on the face of the planet. Likewise, he is one of the densest human beings to have ever lived. He is easily contented and willing to do almost anything for those closest to him-- but is far too dense to notice the troubles of others, more often than not. Hints and suggestions are almost always lost on him, but he means well almost 99% of the time. Despite his age (or what his decided age is), he is a fairly innocent person, with little care for sexual relationships.

Oddly, Levi has an almost unnatural loathing of the number twelve. All sequences in his life exclude the number and any and all collections of his or his parents (for their son's sake) either contain fewer than twelve or greater than twelve items. The number makes him extremely nervous.

General History: It is unclear where Levi comes from exactly. It is also unclear how old he really is. Levi is likely somewhere between sixteen and twenty. That, however, is completely unimportant to him. He was officially adopted at a young age by Jules and Milly Gerash. At the time, he looked somewhere around four or five years old, and for awhile his age went undecided. Since then, his birthdays were always celebrated on the date of his adoption, and for some time instead of being told "happy seventh birthday" or "happy ninth birthday," he was told "happy seventh or eighth birthday" or "happy ninth or tenth birthday."

It wasn't until his "eleventh or twelfth" birthday that he decided to be eleven that year, but only because of an aversion towards the number twelve. On his official twelfth birthday, he chose to instead celebrate his thirteenth birthday, again because of his aversion towards the number twelve. The following year, he celebrated his thirteenth birthday for a second time, because he particularly enjoyed being thirteen.

Discounting their son as not being that bright of a kid, Jules and Milly Gerash played along with his age confusion and loved him all the same.

Levi's name was given to him by the orphanage. As the story goes, he was discovered one night, alone, behind the vacant building of a company that sold oil lanterns, called The Levis Illuminatarium. The sign, however, had rotted away, and the only legible word was "Levi." He could speak at the time he was found, and when asked where he was from, he said "nowhere." At that point, he was officially named Levi de Nullepart at the orphanage, meaning "Levi from nowhere."

Since a young age, Levi has had an interest in reading, particularly books about dragons, wizards, and all the sort. As much as this contradicts the assumptions that he is not, in fact, the brightest lantern in an abandoned lantern shop, the fact that his choice of literature is considered extremely low brow still perpetuates public opinion of his mental dullness.
