The Ersatzshad

Post comments and/or discussion here, if you want. This is mainly just to collect brief overviews of various introduced Ersatzshad characters, for the sake of players that are involved with that plot, but I'm all for discussion. Theories, suggestions, and the like.

— Tehnos.

Status: Deceased.
Demeanor: Tehnos is superfluously haughty. In general, this act is, indeed, meant for humor. More of his time is spent at social events than eating and sleeping combined, during which he commonly flirts with female Ersatzshad. Around other men, he is quick to one-up and even quicker to verbally attack—however, he boasts stronger words than muscle. He is known by at least every Ersatzshad residing in the City of Shadows, if only because he is linked into the social web in several areas.
Abilities: Using retractable horns that extend from his elbows, Tehnos can strike with them as if wielding duel, underhanded daggers. Utilizing superior control over spiritual energy, he can even use these as powerful outlets for highly destructive torrents of energy.

Status: Alive.
Demeanor: Kind, compassionate, and (emotionally) strong are the three words that characterize Usurii best. She is, however, extremely stubborn despite this. If she dislikes an individual, Usurii is prone to disliking them as long as physically possible—unless provided strong reason to change her mind. This applies to any situation; Usurii's predispositions are often (unnaturally) accurate and worth being trusted. If she happens to have a hunch about someone or something, she is more often correct. Strangely, despite a kind personality, she is somewhat of a shut-in and lacks close personal companions other than Isac and Tehnos.
Abilities: Unknown.

Status: Alive.
Demeanor: Although often confused, disoriented, or otherwise mentally and/or emotionally lost, Isac is generally a good natured man. He finds it difficult to voice his thoughts—if only because they are frequently jumbled and convoluted—and, for the longest time, relied entirely on Usurii for daily existence; a behavior that has since changed. Even still, he remains more adept in fighting than socializing, partly because he does not feel quite at home with the Ersatzshad, despite living amongst them for so many months (that he can remember).
Abilities: Isac possesses a plethora of talents and skills, most of which he is unable to access due to a lack of sufficient memory of them. At current, he possesses a natural control over water and can sense distortions in Mana.

— Teos.

Status: Alive.
Demeanor: In spite of his age—adolescent by appearance—Teos acts more "adult" than most that he knows. The act itself is based on "adult" stereotypes, however. Thus, he is silent and austere at all times. He also happens to possess a powerful sense of justice, and will fight blindly by the side of the just if necessary.
Abilities: Teos's only two specialized techniques are the shadow dash and shadow projection. The shadow dash is a powerful ability that near-instantly places him from one shadow to the next. The actual movement is a dash, despite the appearance of teleportation. Shadow projection allows Teos to create (and control) a single shade rendition of himself; the shade body can be used to fight so that the real, living body is not put at risk.

Status: Alive.
Demeanor: Despite his status of mute (by choice), Sinir is uncharacteristically social. He, very much like Tehnos, is known throughout the Ersatzshad social web, if only due to his frequent appearances at social gatherings. Because of his refusal to speak, he is very enigmatic, but a pleasant—and somewhat haughty—smile often attracts positive attention to him at social gatherings. Sinir shares a close bond with Teos.
Abilities: Sinir can alter his voice for a variety of different effects, such as mimicking another's voice, stealing another's voice, luring creatures to his side, releasing powerful shrieks capable of inducing permanent ear and/or brain damage, lull those nearby to sleep, cause blunt force physical damage, reanimate—and control—corpses, and even locate nearby Gaiasouls.

— Presmodia

Status: Alive.
Demeanor: Primarily disliked by most other Ersatzshad, Presmodia is known for haughty dramatics and a rather misplaced superiority complex—often referring to himself as the "greatest Ersatzshad." This serves to irritate others like him, who he genuinely believes to below him. Notably, Presmodia is extremely physically weak, without only a variant control of telekinesis as his combat specialty. That aside, there is nothing to establish him as officially superior—even more-so, he could be considered one of the weakest amongst the Ersatzshad.
Abilities: Presmodia has an exemplary control of telekinetic abilities—these, at times, have been seen to be more flashy than useful, however, which serves to only further heighten his superiority complex. Like many other Ersatzshad, he naturally possesses a Shadow Recharge ability.

— Aioro Vizcarra

Status: Alive.
Demeanor: Generally agreeable and content for the most part, Aioro is more likely to smile and brush an insult aside than he is to take it personally. He is a very heartfelt Ersatzshad, compassionate and genuinely kind, which--paired with his appearance--provides him great deals of female attention, which the young man appreciates, but rarely indulges in or takes advantage of. Despite all of that, Aioro is stubborn when it comes to his beliefs, whether they be moral, political, or religious, and while he isn't likely to push his beliefs and values on others, he is more than willing to fight for what he believes in (and all that is important to him, of course).

— Achren.

Status: Alive.
Demeanor: Melancholic is the best word to describe Achren. She is cold and calculating; she views all humans as trash--not worth being in her vicinity, though not out of pompousness. As it stands, Achren is no better or worse than other Ersatzshad, and while quite pessimistic (to the point of being disliked by several other Ersatzshad), she isn't the type to see herself as above colleagues and superiors. Rather, her dislike for humans is simply that: a hatred for the human race, a common value held by those that dwell in the City of Shadows.
Abilities: Achren can manipulate the shadows in which she can: Cloak by them very well, make them harder and use them like blades or darts (which she can imbue with her poison), she can also use them to hold and strangle, as well as turn them into energy..... She can shadow dash, heal, and has some level of telekinesis....and she can summon ateruo.

— Zeto.

Status: Alive.
Demeanor: Although he does not get out much (at all), Zeto is extremely kind--the honest and gentle sort. He is somewhat socially awkward, though, and ideologies usually confuse him. Zeto is one of the few Ersatzshad that is very open to accepting human beings without prejudice, despite the fact that he works alongside with the more active opponents of human acceptance. It is often speculated that Zeto is homosexual, just based on his appearance, social habits, and the fact that he often associates with Presmodia. This is actually incorrect; Zeto is just one of the few that actually accept Presmodia for who he is.
