Soren
Trydian growled, wondering if he would ever escape that name. Soren had been the Vuri's pride and joy. He had been granted every thing he ever desired. From his birth, Trydian had been taught to respect Soren, even though he was twice his senior. Smirking, he watched Chizuru stand her ground and dominate him. Human females usually had a temper, but none could compare to Chizuru's.
“It's him I do not trust! Soren feels entitled to everything, but I will be there to tell him otherwise. Xanathi aren't known for contacting without a reason- even to give a close friend good news.” Trydian's fangs began to show, wondering what Soren was planning. It was unusual that he would contact her after all of this time. Even if he was recovering from something, why would he bother with a human female?
Something seemed unusual about the message.
“Even if you leave, I will be right behind you. You don't know the Xanathi's like I do. For all I know, he's luring you there, to take advantage of you.”
Glaring at her, he brought up another subject. “Speaking of trust..why didn't you make me King? Don't trust me enough, to be equal in title?” Trydian left her with that thought, but he quickly removed the Kimono, double swords and dressed in his old clothing. Untying his hair, he let it cascade around his shoulders, feeling more at home with himself.
Taking the swords back, he sheathed them across his back, so that they crossed each other. Trydian didn't kiss her, or give her affection like he normally did. Moving away from her, he left her without another word, or warning of his absence.
Humans would taste especially good that evening. Trydian couldn't wait for the hunt to start. He forced his mind to clear, while Chizuru made her journey.
