"You know what, nothing sounds pretty good about now. Rule one of having an eventful life is if one night goes a little too fast, you take a slow day to make up for it if you can. But of course, I'm sure you knew all about that already, Frankie." Dario smirked a little, trying to let on he knew more than he actually did. He hadn't been thinking about it a lot, but she knew a lot more about his way of life (or something of the sort) than she let on at first. But there was no doubt about it, from the knives she had hidden to the way she carried herself walking through the office building. He wasn't sure what she was, but a rank amateur wasn't it.
Pausing in his thought for a moment, he answered her question. "You know, I'd say it's just about eleven, maybe noon. I'd make fun of you for sleeping in, but I did too, and I don't think either of us can be blamed for it." He was pretty certain on that last point. He went over it in his head, and they had gone through at least three life or death situations on the way back home by his count. But maybe he was embellishing it with the security guard he knocked out. He sat back down on the foot of the bed and rested back a little. It was up to their stomachs to decide when they'd leave.
