D&D 3.5 ish in nature

Postby Shin on Sun May 15, 2011 8:03 am

Well, obviously I love the Coliseum. I make up over half the posts here and I want another!

This one is pretty simple. Characters that are very heavily D&D 3.5 related only. I like using D&D as a background as it provides balance and keeps things fair. Approximate level is up in the air and is exactly what I said, an approximate.

Any Takers?

I-- what? 3.5 is balanced all of a sudden? My half-ogre monk says otherwise.

Well, You can break it if you want.

But I find the fun in the story, not one character breaking the game.

It's a bit too high fantasy for my tastes. I generally prefer dark fantasy over high fantasy--but hey, to each his own. In any event, I might be duking it out with Kensaki here, so I'll have to pass on this for now.

Edit: also, 4th ed. has a class that revolves around SCIENCE. The Aperture brand of science, at that, because half its spells include electrocuting or lighting an ally on fire for some reason. For this reason alone, 4th ed. is superior.

Agreed. 4.0 is way better. It is more balanced and just as fun.

Swordmages ftw!
