[Katsumi Viora]

Yuki canted his head looking around for a moment
before looking back to Kitano.

"Outosan allows anyone who owns shops to make any sort of alterations to the building that they see fit,as long as it doesn't obstruct other buildings close by,or the road out front."

He said nodding...He pressed a finger to his lips canting his head for a moment..He turned to Katsumi..
Katsumi was looking through books,having heard Yuki he spoke up.


"This used to be an old book-store obviously..So it's quite bigger then the other buildings here..
The others are more suited for clothing and other retail like that..Nothing really suitable for food preparation and the like."



He said..he stopped looking through things for a moment and turned his head looking back at Kitano and blushed smiling lightly at Kitano..

[Kirin]

Kitano was spacing out for a moment. "Yes. We'll build a kitchen." He said after a moment of thought. He was blushing.

He could only hear Shino's singing in response. He probably didn't hear Kitano at all. Kitano sighed softly. Unlike Shino, Kitano was fairly shy about singing in public. Kitano sat next to Katsumi and kissed him on his cheek.

Shino turned. "Kita-kun. Help me out, please." He sounded calm.

Kitano sighed. "Thank you for all your help, Yuki-san and Katsu-chan, but I think we should get working. If you want, we can meet up in a few hours, okay?"

Shino just went back to work.

[Katsumi Viora]

It had started raining outside,the faint patter of the raindrops heard against the roof above them...
Katsumi was still blushing as he looked at Kitano,watching him as he moved over to him..He smiled as he was kissed,and returned the kiss on Kitano's cheek,hugging him lightly..
Yuki was looking at Shino,watching him seemingly caught up by Shino's singing..He giggled.

"You're good at singing,Shino!"


He said cheerfully..he looked back at Kitano then turning toward him and Katsumi.


"Hey Kitano,can you sing too?"


He asked,smiling.

"Thank you for all your help, Yuki-san and Katsu-chan, but I think we should get working. If you want, we can meet up in a few hours, okay?"


Katsumi canted his head.


"You are welcome,I think Yuki-kun and I will stay around here though so you won't have any problems with anything or anyone..Considering you're both new,some villagers might get freaked out seeing you two in here."


"You're welcome,and yeah Oniisan is right!..But come on now,don't push my question aside..Can you sing too Kitano?'

He asked,giggling...


"Hmn?"

He turned as he glanced toward the window,he peered out..There standing in the street as the rain poured down was a young woman with decently long hair which clung about her face...Yuki quickly opened the door and gestured for the woman to come in.



"Nori-chan,you could of come inside!"


The woman slowly looked up,her facial expression blank,it was clear she wasn't human or vampire..It was clear,she was really nothing at all...



"I'm sorry master..I didn't want to be a bother.."


Her voice was monotone,but sweet and smooth as a small smile crept over thin rosy lips.
Yuki canted his head.


"What did you come down here for,and in the rain of all things?".

Yuki asked..Nori canted her head.

"Your father told me to come and tell you that there will be a meeting tomorrow night for all the elders..also,Adio has been notified of Katsumi's return and the new visitors in case they decide to take a room at his manor with the others...."


Nori said..Yuki nodded.

"Oh!"

Yuki turned to Shino and Kitano and gestured at Nori.


"This is Nori,one of my corpse dolls that I created."


He said.

[Kirin]

Shino blushed. No one ever told him his singing was good. He thought he was just average, considering that he only had to sing whenever the task permitted him to. He bowed his head.

"Thank you, Yuki-san." He said with a smile.

Kitano was blushing. "I.."

Thank goodness for interruptions. He smiled slightly at Nori, not knowing that she was a corpse doll. Kitano began to stack books and move them to the side.

"Yes. I can sing." He said finally. "And it is nice to meet you, Nori."

The term corpse doll kept echoing in his mind. His face was etched in curiosity and worry. He wondered how old Nori was and how it was that she did not decompose. Kitano knew that the answer would lie in some sort of foreign magic that he would never have the time or the patience to learn. He was staring outside, sighing about the bleak weather. But everyone needed rain. Rain was good for everything. He just wished it wasn't so gray and dull.

[Katsumi Viora]

Yuki giggled.

"You're welcome Shino!"

He said and then turned to Kitano,he canted his head.

"You should sing for us sometime,I bet you're wonderful!..I mean,look at Shino,he's really good too!"

Yuki said clapping his hands some..Katsumi was blushing.


"..Yuki-kun is right,I bet you're wonderful Kitano-kun."


Katsumi said softly..He turned his head as he heard Nori speak.


"This family is centered around the arts quite a bit..you shouldn't be afraid to express yourself here..Adio and Reita are the head members of a band that frequently performs for places all over...They are,pretty popular.."


She looked at Kitano,the lazy smile still on her face.

"It is nice to meet you too..."

She stopped then looked at Yuki.

"Master,I don't believe he knows what I am."

She said..Yuki blinked and pressed a few fingers to his lips as he looked at Kitano.


"Ohhh?..~...I could show you what a corpse doll really looks like before I have to go about making sure it doesn't turn to mush from decomposition Kitano-kun!..But,you gotta promise not to freak out..."


Yuki asked..
Katsumi arched a brow and looked at Kitano,wondering what he'd say.

[Kirin]

Kitano smiled. He was blushing for a moment. All this flattery over a singing voice that they have never heard. He would sing maybe another time. Right now, he was more fascinated with Nori. He listened to Yuki speak, then took a moment of thought. His face paled and he shook his head.

"I'm afraid that I cannot promise you that, Yuki-san. I'm sorry." He appeared flushed.

Shino looked up at Kitano and sighed. He cleared off an entire shelf of old books and was starting to work on a second. "Kitano is a little squeamish about dead bodies."

Kitano reached behind the counter and began cleaning stuff off. "There are a lot of things that make me squeamish." He admitted. "I'm not really as brave as I pretend to be. But I'm fine with it."

[Katsumi Viora]

Yuki canted his head and giggled..


"That's alright Kitano-kun,I understand..There's nothing wrong with being squeamish about some things."


He said,smiling cheerfully..He looked over at a bookshelf and pointed his hand at it and made a gesture as if telling a dog to sit down...Immediately the books shoved themselves off the shelf and stacked in a neat pile on the floor.
Katsumi seemed slightly surprised.


"I didn't know Outosan gave you that ability back Yuki-kun."

"Hmn?..Oh!..Yeah,Outosan gave it back to me quite a while ago along with my other mind oriented abilities..I was having trouble before because I could focus with this body..but now I'm pretty good!"


Yuki said..Katsumi laughed softly..



"..Well,that's good."


He said simply and walked over to the book pile..Picking one off the top and looking through it..


"...What do you two plan to do with these?.."
"They should give them out to the villagers!.."


Katsumi arched a brow and shrugged,looking at Kitano and Shino now..

[Kirin]

Kitano smiled. "That's a good idea. I bet they'd like some books." He laughed softly. "I can't believe how many books are still here. It's like they suddenly closed up shop."

Shino nodded. "I think it's a little unnerving. But the villagers would make better use for the books than we would."

Even if it were a bonfire.

Kitano gestured to Shino and pulled out a book. He spoke rapidly in the Empire's language to Shino. He opened the pages.

It's a book of foreign magics. What is this red ink? I think it's blood.

Don't be so morbid, Kita-kun. But it does look an awful lot like blood.

Why would someone leave this? This is invaluable.

Maybe they were killed or they simply left. I don't know, Kita-kun. This doesn't seem like the place where people would simply leave.

Kitano nodded. He turned to Katsumi and Yuki. "We'll keep this book though. I want to study it."

[Katsumi Viora]

Yuki was playing around,moving things and making sure everything was neat and orderly..Even if one book became crooked in his piles he'd stop and straighten it..
Nori stood by the main window of the room,watching both Kitano and Shino like a hawk..It wasn't even clear how many times,if at all she had blinked...
Katsumi was just idly fingering through an old book,leaning against one of the walls by a shelf..


"I can't believe how many books are still here. It's like they suddenly closed up shop."

"..This shop hasn't been open since the owner tried to flee from our punishment squad after bringing in and dispensing drugs amongst a random majority of villagers and outsiders...It had rather adverse effects on not only the villagers,but us as well if we consumed their blood...It..wasn't pretty..But the owner was eventually caught and sent to Nightingale Asylum to be held there until his final days...It isn't clear whether or not this has been entered in on by any outsiders,or homeless since the ordeal happened..."


Katsumi explained,not looking up from the book..A content expression on his face despite all that he had just told Shino and Kitano...
Nori canted her head as Kitano and Shino started talking in their language..

"We'll keep this book though. I want to study it."

Nori looked at Kitano.

"...What is in it,that makes you so interested in it?"


Yuki blinked and looked at Nori..he then turned and walked over to Kitano and Shino...


"Yeah,usually these villager books aren't too fantastic?..What did you find?"


He asked,smiling..His nose twitched and he'd rub it once more.

"What a funny smelling book."

He muttered...
Katsumi looked over at them,arching a brow..

[Kirin]

"It is an old spell book. It contains, we think, foreign magicks. Ah, we are not sure of the origin, though. We don't want this to fall into the hands of a villager. And we are interested in studying it. That's all." Kitano said with a smile.

"Perhaps Aiko-sama will be willing to help with the endeavor. How are her twins?" Shino asked. He wasn't good at casual conversation because of his normally serious nature. It was thought of as odd when Shino tried to be friendly because he tended to over-do it.

Shino leaned against the counter, staring at Yuki and Katsumi intently. He was smiling halfly, but at the same time, it looked menacing. However, this was all unintentional. Kitano's eyes widened and he was at a loss for words. Shino was doing that thing where he was creepy once again. Kitano laughed uncomfortably.

Through a clenched jaw, he spoke to Shino in the Empire's language. And the only word that Yuki, Katsumi and Nori would understand was "creepy".

[Katsumi Viora]

Katsumi nodded his suspicions left him as he looked back down at the book in his hands,idly flipping to the next page.


"Thank you for being truthful with us Kitano-kun,it's very much appreciated..Please,even with your studying be careful with it..There's no telling what monstrosities that book could hold..but hopefully,it won't be anything too major.."


Katsumi said..He seemed to be feeling more comfortable now that he was back at home..His responses and conversations far longer then what it had been back in the other land.

"Perhaps Aiko-sama will be willing to help with the endeavor. How are her twins?"


Yuki smiled.

"Oh!..Aiko would probably help you I'm sure..!..The twins are doing well,as are Aiko-chan and Daisuke-kun!"


He said,giggling...Both he and Katsumi then looked at eachother once Kitano and Shino started talking in their language between one another.
Yuki seemed slightly confused..Katsumi was just amused.

"Your language is weird!..Not in a bad way,but it's like ours but different at the same time!"

Yuki said..

"I only picked up the word creepy in that conversation..I find it more amusing then I should."

Katsumi added..
Nori was by the bookshelves looking through things...

"Your Outosan may want an update on that book,once it's purpose is found out...He may use the evidence against the former shop keeper..Or find who owned it in the first place."


Nori said calmly..
Katsumi and Yuki both nodded...Katsumi looked up from the book for just a moment as he set another book on the pile near himself,and if he was able Shino would hear him in his own thoughts...Katsumi's eyes had moved back to the book he was looking through..


{Be careful with what you do or say,when she's here...She may be Yuki's creation,but she tends to be the one to relay things back to my Outosan that you or Shino have done if she sees it of use..Just a fair warning..)

Katsumi flipped another page of the book as he stretched a bit..

[Kirin]

Kitano sighed softly. "We will just give this to Aiko-sama. I don't know. Studying it might be too risky of an endeavor." He didn't want to give it up, but if it was something that illegal, he didn't want any part of it. Besides, Shino could lose his head and he didn't want that.

Shino sighed softly. He began to sing again, keeping mostly to himself now. Kitano walked over to Katsumi and handed him the spell book. "Here."

The book started to glow and Katsumi would be forced to drop the book. Kitano looked up at Katsumi. "That's weird."

Shino looked over. "Hmm? I have heard of this. Perhaps it is a human's book made in such a way that only those that are human can touch it. It would make it very appealing to an unsuspecting person such as yourself or a villager. You should go personally to give the book over. Maybe you are the only one that can destroy it."

Kitano shrugged. "Meh. All right."

[Katsumi Viora]

"We will just give this to Aiko-sama. I don't know. Studying it might be too risky of an endeavor."


"If that's what you see fit Kitano-kun."

Katsumi nodded lightly,watching Kitano he reached out and grabbed the book..
Once the book started glowing, Katsumi gasped and dropped it a low growl escaping his lips as he backed off..
His hands remained coiled back against his chest.

"That's weird."
"That..didn't feel good at all."


Katsumi muttered,eying the book.


"Oh!..Oniisama are you alright?"
"I'm fine Yuki,don't worry."


He muttered,sighing.


"Hmm? I have heard of this. Perhaps it is a human's book made in such a way that only those that are human can touch it. It would make it very appealing to an unsuspecting person such as yourself or a villager. You should go personally to give the book over. Maybe you are the only one that can destroy it."


Katsumi nodded...


"He's right..because I'm not touching that thing again..."


He seemed sort of unnerved about the book..
Yuki frowned.


"Oniisama,Outosan wants me to fix your wing problem, don't forget..I can get it finished right now if you want me to."


Yuki told Katsumi who looked over at Shino and Kitano.



"Did you two want to head back to the cathedral now or did you have anything else here you wanted to go through?"


He asked..

[Kirin]

Shino looked over at a bookshelf. "I want to see what is behind that shelf." He gestured to a shelf that was next to the wall by the counter. "It smells strangely." He walked over to the shelf and pulled it down. It fell with a loud noise.

A tunnel was carved into the wall and Shino tilted his head. He made a motion with his hand towards Kitano. Kitano walked over to Shino and turned to Katsumi and Yuki. "I promise to be safe." He laughed and muttered a spell. A ball of light sprung from his hand and he walked into the tunnel. Shino followed him. Both were talking to one another.

The tunnel was narrow, only allowing one person at a time until it reached a room at the end. The room opened up to be a science lab. Old vials and beakers were still capped and full of chemicals. There were jarred, preserved animals on a shelf. Shino frowned. In the middle of the room, there was an operating table that was clean and had looked like it had been recently used. Kitano clung to Shino.

"I don't like this. I don't like this at all, Shino-kun." He whimpered.

[Katsumi Viora]

Katsumi,Yuki and Nori stood where they had been...

"I want to see what is behind that shelf."

"..Alright..go ahead.."

Katsumi said and watched Shino pull down the shelf..
Yuki jumped a bit,startled by the loud bang the shelf made...
Katsumi's eyes narrowed seeing the tunnel there,he frowned,this hadn't been documented in the report for the previous shop owner..


"Ki..."
"I promise to be safe."

Katsumi sighed and nodded...
Yuki,Katsumi and Nori would follow the two into the tunnel one by one once there was room for them
to go in single file..
Once they got into the lab..Yuki squeeked lightly as he pressed a hand over his mouth.


"What..what is this?..those poor animals..It smells so weird in here..."
"Yuki-kun...is this one of your areas?..you can tell m---"
"No!..Of course not!..Oniisama should know me better then this..I would never hurt an animal and I only work with bodies that have died on their own or have been assigned to me for specific reasons!"
"Yes,I'm sorry Yuki I didn't mean to jump to conclusions."



Katsumi said,sighing..Yuki wrapped his arms around himself..He had his wings hidden for now so they wouldn't cause him to be limited horribly of space in this area.
Nori was looking around slowly.


"..These chemicals...do not touch them..or anything here for that matter..this place is very strange,and the smell..It's not something I've smelled before..None of this is right..including the clean surgical table.."


She said..
